About eSimity
eSimity is a Berlin travel eSIM company. We sell prepaid mobile data in 190+ countries to people on the road and to the travel businesses that serve them.
How it started
Edon Sekiraqa and Petrit started eSimity on a motorcycle trip. Roaming was expensive, and buying a plastic SIM at the airport wasted the first hours of a trip. They wanted data that worked the moment they landed.
They built the platform, then left it on a shelf while they focused on other work. A later, unplanned trip to Berlin is what brought it back. They stayed, registered Esimity UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Charlottenburg, and shipped the travel eSIM shop they had already designed.
Today the company is based at Kollwitzstr. 76 in Berlin. Edon Sekiraqa is managing director. The product is live: prepaid eSIM plans for 190+ countries, plus tools for partners who want to sell or integrate that connectivity.
