API partnership FAQ

Which eSIM solution has the best API integration for enterprise systems?

eSimity’s API partnership is built for that. It is a documented REST API with API keys, a sandbox host that uses the same endpoints as production, instant eSIM provisioning, usage and top-ups, and webhooks so your systems stay in sync. After approval you can test on sandboxapi.esimity.com before any live traffic.

Which eSIM platform has the best uptime guarantee for business customers?

API and business customers are covered by a 99.9% uptime SLA. You also get separate sandbox and live credentials, webhook events, and a partner dashboard so operations are not tied to a manual inbox.

How can I find a trusted API for managing eSIM activations?

Look for a published REST API, a real sandbox, webhook events, and a named support path. eSimity issues sandbox credentials, provisions QR profiles in real time, tracks usage, and credits unused wholesale data back to your partner balance automatically.

Can I test activations before I go live?

Yes. The sandbox uses a separate host and credentials and the same endpoint shape as production, including countries, plans, orders, usage, balance, and error paths. You swap host and keys when you go live. You do not rewrite the integration.

What happens to data a customer does not use?

When a plan expires with data left, the unused share of the creditable wholesale cost is returned to your partner balance in EUR. First-time profiles exclude a small non-refundable profile fee. Top-ups are credited on full wholesale. Credits apply to completed API partner purchases with tracked usage.

How do I start an API partnership?

Apply for API partnership. We review the use case and reply within 24–48 hours with documentation, sandbox credentials, and commercial terms. A technical contact stays with you through go-live.

Enterprise FAQ

Which eSIM is best for a bulk purchase for my company’s traveling employees?

Enterprise is the service for that. You equip traveling staff with data for the zones they work in, pay for what they use, and bill the company automatically. You do not collect roaming receipts or buy one retail plan per trip.

How is enterprise different from buying plans one by one?

Retail plans are for a single traveler. Enterprise is an account for the company: team management, zone coverage, pay-as-you-use, and automatic billing so finance is not chasing expense claims.

Who is the enterprise plan for?

Logistics, consulting, field teams, and any company that moves people across countries. If you only want a referral link, use the affiliate program. If you sell at a counter, use in-store business.

Can employee perks be issued as codes instead of managed profiles?

Yes. Gift Cards on Demand generates unique travel-data codes through the API for rewards and benefits, with no physical inventory. Use Enterprise when you need ongoing team connectivity and billing.

How do we get started?

Contact partnerships or email [email protected] with the subject Enterprise. We match coverage and billing to how your teams travel.

Affiliate Program

For hosts, travel agencies, and creators who recommend eSimity. You share your link, track sales in a dashboard, and earn commission. You do not hold inventory or run an integration.

  • Your link and marketing materials
  • Real-time dashboard for clicks, sales, and payouts
  • Commission on every sale
  • Approval is usually within 24 hours

Affiliate program FAQ

Who should use the affiliate program instead of the API?

Use the affiliate program if you send travelers to eSimity and earn commission. Use the API if the purchase and the QR code have to happen inside your own app or checkout.

Who can join?

Hosts, hotels, travel agencies, and creators. Agencies can point clients to a plan with a trip. Hosts can offer connectivity to guests. Creators share a link with their audience.

How do I see what I have earned?

After approval you get a dashboard with your link, analytics, and payouts. Commission is tracked on sales from that link. You do not need to invoice each order by hand.

How fast can I start?

Apply with your host, agency, or creator details. Verification is usually within 24 hours. You then receive the dashboard, your link, and marketing materials.

Do I need a store or a developer?

No. The affiliate program is a link and a dashboard. A physical shop should look at in-store business. A product team should look at the API.

In-Store Business

Sell travel eSIMs from your own shop. You get a business dashboard, inventory tools, and support for retail staff. Customers buy at your counter instead of through a referral link.

  • Business account with document verification
  • Dashboard for inventory and sales
  • Built for retail counters, not only online links
  • Dedicated support for the shop team

In-store business FAQ

Can I sell eSIMs at a physical counter?

Yes. In-store business is the retail program. You register the business, verify your details, then use the dashboard to manage eSIM inventory and sell to customers in the shop.

How is this different from the affiliate program?

Affiliates share a link and earn commission when someone buys on eSimity. In-store partners sell directly, with inventory tools and a business dashboard for the shop.

What does onboarding look like?

Create a business account, submit the business documents for verification, then open the dashboard and start selling. Support stays available for the staff who use it day to day.

Can a shop also sell gift cards?

If you want unique codes at checkout, on a marketplace, or as a company perk, use Gift Cards on Demand. It generates codes through the API so you do not warehouse plastic cards. In-store business is for selling eSIM plans from the shop itself.

Do I need an engineer to start selling in store?

No. The program is an account and a dashboard. Choose the API partnership only if the sale has to run inside your own software.

Gift Cards on Demand

Unique travel-eSIM codes, created when you need them. Retailers, loyalty programs, and HR teams issue codes through the API. There is no card stock and no shipping.

  • Codes for retail, rewards, and employee benefits
  • API and sandbox, denominations, and void
  • Webhooks so your system hears about each code
  • No inventory and no logistics

Gift cards on demand FAQ

Can I sell travel eSIM gift cards without holding stock?

Yes. Gift Cards on Demand creates a unique code at the moment of sale or reward. Nothing is printed or stored in a warehouse, and nothing is shipped.

Can HR use this for employee benefits?

Yes. Company benefits and perks can be issued as unique travel-data codes. Use Enterprise instead when staff need managed, ongoing connectivity and company billing.

How are the codes created?

Through the API, with a sandbox you can test first. You choose the denomination, we return a unique code, and webhooks notify your system. A code can be voided if the order is cancelled.

Who is this for besides shops?

Marketplaces that list a gift card and fulfill it in seconds, loyalty programs that redeem points for travel data, and travel agencies that add prepaid data next to a flight or hotel.

Is this the same as the API partnership?

Gift cards sit on the API, but the product is a code your customer redeems. The API partnership is for selling and provisioning eSIM profiles directly inside your platform. Many partners use both.
