How do I install this Bermuda eSIM?

After checkout we email a QR code and setup steps. On your phone, long-press the QR code , your device should pop up an option to install the eSIM. You can also open the QR (or enter the SM-DP+ details) in Settings, add the eSIM, then turn on data roaming for the new line. You can install before you travel.

How do I activate this eSIM on iPhone (iOS)?

  1. Open the QR code in your purchase email on your iPhone and long-press it, then tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular Plan) when it appears. You do not need to open Settings to add it.
  2. After it is installed, open Settings → Cellular (Mobile Data), tap the new Bermuda eSIM, and turn the line on.
  3. Enable Data Roaming on that eSIM line.
  4. Go back and set Cellular Data to the Bermuda eSIM.
  5. Turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching (data sharing) so iPhone does not fall back to your home SIM for data.

An old unused eSIM can block or delay a , travel eSIMs you no longer need first.

If the status stays on Activating, that is normal before you reach Bermuda: it will finish activating when you connect to a supported network in the destination country.

How do I activate this eSIM on Android?

  1. Open the QR code in your purchase email on your Android phone and long-press it, then tap Add eSIM (or Install eSIM) when it appears. You do not need to open Settings to add it.
  2. After it is installed, open Settings → Network & internet (or Connections) → SIMs and turn the new Bermuda eSIM on.
  3. Enable Data roaming for that line.
  4. Set it as the SIM for mobile data.
  5. Turn off automatic data switching / data sharing so the phone does not use your home SIM for data.

An old unused eSIM can cause install or activation issues , remove expired travel eSIMs first.

If the status is stuck on Activating, wait until you arrive in Bermuda: it will activate when the phone connects to a supported local network.

Will this eSIM work on my phone?

It works on most unlocked iPhone and Android devices that support eSIM. Check device compatibility in the shop before you pay. Carrier-locked phones may not accept a travel eSIM.

Do I keep my WhatsApp number and primary SIM?

Yes. Keep your primary SIM active for calls, SMS, and WhatsApp. Use the Bermuda eSIM for data. Dual SIM lets both lines stay on.

When does the validity period start?

This plan typically starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network, not at purchase. Validity is 7 days from that start. Check the activation details on this page.

How quickly do I receive the eSIM?

Delivery is digital and usually instant. Your QR code and install instructions are sent to the email you enter at checkout. No physical SIM is shipped.

Can I use hotspot with this eSIM?

Yes. This plan allows personal hotspot / tethering, so you can share data with a laptop or other devices where local rules allow it.

What if I run out of data?

When data is used up, the eSIM stops passing traffic. You can buy another eSimity plan for the same destination. Unused data does not roll over after expiry.
